Hillsboro is the 10:00 worship place!

At Hillsboro, togetherness is important to us. We are a family of believers who love one another and love being together, so we are committed to worshiping together. And because our congregation is multi-generational, we work to include old hymns as well as contemporary Christian music. We also value creativity and freshness in our worship, so we try to build a little bit of the unexpected into worship each week.

The 10:00 worship time is also our effort to be "family friendly." It allows families to get home a bit earlier, giving them a little bit of morning left to enjoy even after being at church.

Dress is casual, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The service includes the use of multi-media, humor, and the involvement of church members in worship leadership.

Something special for children: KidMo! Near the beginning of worship, our children and children's leaders leave together for a special worship experience designed just for them. It's certainly not mandatory - your child is welcome to worship with you. But it's definitely a lot more exciting. At the end of KidMo! the children return to the Sanctuary to join their parents for the last few minutes of regular worship (so you don't have to go looking for them).

Bible Study, anyone? Wednesday Nights! "Don't you people have Sunday School?" Well, yes and no. We have found that our families are so busy on weekends that it was hard to get to church that extra hour early, especially with children. So Wednesday is our Bible study night. We have a family dinner at 6:00 p.m. provided by our kitchen committee, and Life Groups for all ages from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. You are invited to contribute toward the meal, but there is no fixed cost. We want YOU, not your money!
